Virginia Tech Shooter Was Not Muslim. He Was Christian.

This morning`s post included a theory that says that may be the writing on the shooter`s arm was Ismail AK and not Ismail AX. Someone commented on that theory saying that “does not hold water .” Well, that was a theory but now I am actually going to state some facts proving that the shooter was not Muslim and that he even did not know the simplest Islamic beliefs.

Islamophobes are trying to link the Virginia Massacre to Islam!

There is no connection to Islam here.

By the way, the Virginia Tech MSA, which made a statement yesterday, long before the identity of the shooter was revealed, has informed us that two of the killed had Muslim sounding names: Reema Samaha (an accomplished nationally recognized dancer), and Waleed Shaalan. Arabisto has more about them, apparently both were Lebanese.” source: Ali Eteraz

And to further counter any anti-Islamic bigotry: here’s proof that he was a “Christian terrorist”, or that the massacre was influenced by Christianity:“Ismail could be “Ishmeal” who was to be sacrificed to God by Abraham. But God stayed Abraham’s hand. Cho, might think himself as Ishmeal – a sacrifice. And “Ax” in the Bible refres to Luke3:9 and Mathew3:10. Both say,” The Ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire” This sounds like Cho was playing “God” and passing judgement on students.” writes anonymous on the Washington Post blog

But you don’t see any blogs asking leading questions like “Was this murderer a follower of Christianity or influenced by Christian teaching?“, do you? That wouldn’t reflect very well on such blogs, would it?? But bashing and slandering Islam? no problem! The final nail in the coffin of the Islamophobes’ attempts to vilify Islam: Cho Seung-Hui, the Virginia Tech murderer himself says in the manifesto he sent to MSNBC:

“…thanks to you I died like Jesus Christ, to inspire generations of the weak and the defenseless people…” source: Video labeled “Cho’s Manifesto” on MSNBC’s website

And just for the benefit of our non-Muslim readers: Muslims do not believe that Jesus Christ died, and especially that he was not crucified, but that he was “lifted up into Heaven, as is” by Allah. Therefore this conclusively proves that Cho was not a Muslim, was not aware of one of the fundamentals of Islam, and hence was not influenced by Islam! The question then becomes, why the hell are biased bloggers singling out the theory that links it to Islam (which in itself is so astoundingly weak that it ought not to be mentioned at all!)????It’s because they are bigoted! And here’s an example of their bigotry:

Even if it does not turn out that the shooter is Muslim, this is a demonstration to Muslim jihadists all over that it is extremely easy to shoot and kill multiple American college students.” source: Debbie Schlussel on her own blog

Now that’s called using a tragic story’s sensationalist appeal to shallowly spew forth their bile of hatred against Islam and Muslims!

I mean it’s really going out of your way to link this somehow to Islam. What a ludicrous attempt! If these people had watched a CNN interview with his roommates aired on April 17th, 2007, they would have realized that there was no mention of Islam in his entire life!

This analysis is not over yet. To read more mind-blowing details which will shut up all Islamophobes and make them stop trying to link the Virginia Tech shootings to Islam, please visit the following link:

Could you please just put the link and a small excerpt from our blog, instead of copy pasting the entire thing? Thanks

  2. Ahmed Ismail Says:

Of course, Salahudin. I just wanted your post to be read by more and more people. I am a truthseeker and I like truth to spread everywhere. I am so sorry if I used your post in a way which is inappropriate to you. And thank you for the great analysis of the whole Virginia Tech incident. I am going to put just excerpts right now with a link to your pro-truth blog.

Important for us to know. I think that it is safe to say that he was severely misguided in the teachings of either one of the religions he is being linked to. Unfortunately, religion is a dangerous tool in the hands of many.

  5. Brian Says:

Cho saying that he will ‘die like Jesus Christ’ is hardly enough evidence to say he was a Christian!

Did you see his life? Does it match Jesus Christ’s teachings? Did he ever come out and say he was a Christian? Even if he did, and even if he went to church— saying you a Christian because you go to church is like saying you are a car because you stand in a garage once a week.

I can say ‘I am an astronaut’ but what does that prove?

I can get tattoos of pagan gods on my arm but does that make me a pagan? I can have the Star of David tattooed on my leg but does that necessarily make me a Jew?

So how can you make the statement that he was a Christian?

To be Christian literally means to be Christ-like. This is hardly something that Jesus would do.

  6. Ahmed Ismail Says:

Brian, Christians are the only ones who believe that Jesus Christ died. Muslims believe he was lifted up into heaven. Cho said he would die like Jesus Christ. So, Cho believes that Jesus died. Isn`t that enough evidence?

  7. Jason Says:

Ahmed . . . not quite, Jews and most Hindus and Bhuddists and a good many atheists and scholars from all sorts of backgrounds will all tell you that there is plenty of reason to believe that Jesus died and their certainty that he died does not make them Christians . . .

  8. mattdabbs Says:

    Ahmed,

Christians believe Jesus died, was buried, resurrected, and ascended to heaven. Also, Ishmael in the old testament was a Hebrew/Jew not a Christian and Abraham nearly sacrificed Isaac, his other son, not Ishmael. There is no parallel with the name here as far as Christianity is concerned. The Ax parallel with Luke is a stretch unless he specifically mentioned it in his video or letter. If I read enough of your writing, I could find similar words to what are in the Bible but that does not mean that is what you intended.

I do think it is unfortunate that people jump so quickly to unfounded conclusions about other religions.
