Hamas played key role in releasing BBC’s Alan Johnston

July 4, 2007

BBC correspondent Alan Johnston has been released by kidnappers in the Gaza Strip after 114 days in captivity.

Mr Johnston, 45, was handed over to armed men in Gaza City. He said his ordeal was like “being buried alive” but it was “fantastic” to be free.

Speaking live from Jerusalem later, he thanked those who had supported him, and vowed to return to “obscurity”.

Rallies worldwide had called for Mr Johnston’s release. An online petition was signed by some 200,000 people.

Mr Johnston’s father Graham said he and his wife were “overjoyed” at their son’s release.

“It’s been 114 days of a living nightmare,” he said.

Gordon Brown, in his first prime minister’s questions session in the UK parliament, said: “The whole country will welcome the news that Alan Johnston, a fearless journalist whose voice was silenced for too long, is now free.”

Mr Brown acknowledged the “crucial” role played by Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas in securing Mr Johnston’s release.

But a spokesman for Mr Brown said Britain’s policy towards Hamas had not changed, and the movement was still expected to recognise Israel and show a commitment to non-violence.

Somalia moves for reconciliation

July 4, 2007

Somali interim government’s Prime Minister Gedi has called for action to hold the country’s National Reconciliation Conference on July 15.

Ali Mohamed Gedi said on the sidelines of the African Union Summit in Accra that the groundwork is being laid to hold Somalia’s National Reconciliation Conference as scheduled. The event, which was initially scheduled for June 14, has been postponed for the third time until July 15.

The opposition factions began to band together in Eritrea, refusing to join talks until Ethiopian forces withdraw from Somalia, demanding a conference based on political rather than clan representation.

Gedi also added that his government would welcome talks with all political parties provided they accept the interim government’s charter and a diplomatic process to curb growing unrest throughout the country.

The transitional government has been accused of not moving quickly enough to reconcile with representatives of all Somalia’s powerful clans and elements of an Islamic government ousted last December with the help of Ethiopia’s powerful army.

US Zionist lobby seeks pressure on Iran

July 4, 2007

A Zionist lobby in US has called for more pressure by the international community to forestall Iran’s nuclear program.

In its 20-page statement on stopping Iran’s nuclear program, the American Jewish Committee alleges that Iran poses a threat to international community by interfering in the domestic affairs of its neighbors and supporting terrorist groups, according to Mehr news agency.

It goes on to assert that Iran has violated the Non-Proliferation Treaty, ignored the resolutions issued by the United Nations Security Council and its leaders have called for wiping Israel off the world map.

Alleging Iran is a profound threat to the Middle East and beyond, the report says Iran’s economy depends on foreign trade, investments and credit which make it vulnerable to outside action.

It then refers to punitive measures targeted at the country, proposing that more sanctions be imposed Iran as a pressure leverage to pull the plug on its nuclear program.
The Zionist committee proposes that the European Union restrict its trade ties with the Islamic Republic.

The report comes at a time when the US Congress and Foreign Relations Committee have been focusing on Iran’s nuclear program, with two bills proposed at the Congress over the past week seeking further sanctions against Iran.

Call for Muslim unity

July 4, 2007

The Islamic Monotheism Movement of Lebanon has claimed that the US is sowing seeds of discord among different religious groups in Lebanon.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the movement said that the US is trying to shift its troubles from Iraq and Afghanistan to Lebanon in an effort to escape from the existing political and military quagmire that it has created in those countries. The Islamic Monotheism Movement also called for solidarity between Shia and Sunni in order to overcome the conspiracies of the enemies of Islam.

Muslim teacher sacked in Germany

July 4, 2007

A Muslim teacher who replaced her head-scarf with a beret pulled down over her ears has been fired from school.

The teacher, who tried to preserve her religious values and at the same time follow Germany’s social norms lost a lawsuit Friday against a German state which banned religious head-dress from public schools; IRNA reported. Presiding judge Heike Menche of a labour tribunal in the western city of Dusseldorf upheld a pre-dismissal warning issued to the woman, 35, who trains children in life skills at a city school. The woman adopted the pink beret after North Rhine-Westphalia state followed the example of Turkey and France by outlawing head scarves in public schools, saying they were a sectarian symbol.

This is while an estimated 3.2 million of the 82 million people in Germany have an Islamic heritage.

The woman denied her beret was religious and said she wore it for cultural reasons, since she felt “undressed” when bare-headed.

Eight of sixteen states in Germany including the capital have banned Islamic head scarves from public schools.

The Real Bible Code

July 4, 2007

How many of you have heard of something called the Bible Code? I’m sure many of you have and at the mere mention, many of you also scoff.

Did you know that the concept of the Bible Code erupted due to an extraordinary discovery about the Quran and what is called “gematric” languages?

Mathematics is the language in which God has written the universe.
-Galileo Galilei

Hebrew, Aramaic and Arabic are alll what is called “gematric” languages. Greek also has some remnants of its “gematric” past.

What is a “gematric” language you may ask.

A gematric language is an ancient language in which there was no separate system of actual “characters” to represent numbers. For instance, Roman numerals are not numerals at all but they are letters. In Greek, letters are used to denote numerical ideas like Alpha, Omega, etc.

Ancient Hebrew was a purely gematric language but is no longer spoken in the modern world. Arabic however still is…ANCIENT Arabic and it is spoken by more people than any other ancient language in the modern world.

Now…you may be saying, “So what.”

Don’t. Don’t say “so what” and put this in your mind right here and right now: The Bible Code does not exist nor was English or Latin ever spoken by ANY prophet. Why is that important?

Well. Because we can look at the Quran and “figure” it out. We can do that by using an INTERNATIONAL language that doesn’t lie and isn’t open to “personal” interpretations that exist when someone tries to define the meaning of any given word to another person.

Yes. God’s language is mathematical. Absolutely. And there is only one remaining language in which the proof of this exists beyond a shadow of a doubt:

ARABIC.

Therefore, the Quran is a massive mathematical formula. It isn’t I caution you, a means for “predicting” the future as the “Bible DEcoders” suggested to people. The Bible Code was nothing more than a response to the fact that numerous scholars recognized that they had an IMMENSE problem on their hands. That problem is…the Quran can be mathematically proven.

It is a proof that is intended for non muslims…not muslims like me. We already believe Islam to be Allah’s last word. This is noted in the key passage in the Quran which is called:

THE CLOAKED or THE HIDDEN, Sura 74 in which the Prime Number 19 is mentioned as a “curious” parable which up until the early 1970s was not really understood by anyone. The man who uncovered this immense proof was assassinated in Tucson, Arizona in his mosque. He was one very dangerous person as you might imagine.

A few excerpts from Sura (which means “proof”) 74

http://www.submission.org/suras/sura74.html

[74:35] This is one of the great miracles.

[74:36] A warning to the human race.

[74:18] For he reflected, then decided.

[74:19] Miserable is what he decided.

[74:20] Miserable indeed is what he decided.

[74:21] He looked.

[74:22] He frowned and whined.

[74:23] Then he turned away arrogantly.

[74:24] He said, “This is but clever magic!

[74:25] “This is human made.”

[74:26] I will commit him to retribution.

[74:27] What retribution!

[74:28] Thorough and comprehensive.

[74:29] Obvious to all the people.
[74:30] Over it is nineteen.

I only bring this to you because I realize that many here may not have heard about this fact regarding the Quran. Even many muslims haven’t heard about it or are discouraged from talking about it because some superstitious types believe it to be similar to “magic” or a means of trying to predict future events..which it isn’t.

It is PURE mathematics. No more and no less. I hope you take the time to investigate this on your own and really open your mind to something truly mind boggling. Truly.

Go here to read about the differences in claims of the “Bible Code” and those of the Quran:

http://www.submission.org/quran/biblecode.html

And go here to investigate the numerous ways in which numbers are used throughout the entire Quran to establish tables of reasoning, patterns and undeniable proofs to non muslims..especially those with a bit of scientific and mathematical ability:

http://submission.org/miracle/

Good luck on your search through this amazing Sign from the Creator.

Some interesting facts about the origin of the “Bible Code” ripoff which was basically “invented” by so called Orthodox Hebrew scholars and marketed to the Western societies:

http://www.ingermanson.com/codes/art/intro.php

You really need to ask yourself:

Why haven’t I heard about the Quranic Code?

[74:16] He stubbornly refused to accept these proofs.

[74:54] Indeed, this is a reminder.

[74:55] For those who wish to take heed

Eye to Eye (words can sometimes speak louder than actions)

July 4, 2007

Eye to Eye

By Gihad Ali

Look into my eyes,
And tell me what you see.
You don’t see a damn thing,
’cause you can’t possible relate to me.

You’re blinded by our differences.
My life makes no sense to you.
I’m the persecuted Palestinian.
You are the American red, white and blue.

Each day you wake in tranquillity.
No fears to cross your eyes.
Each day I wake in gratitude.
Thanking God he let me rise.

You worry about your education,
And the bills you have to pay.
I worry about my vulnerable life,
And if I’ll survive another day.

Your biggest fear is getting ticketed
As you cruise your Cadillac.
My fear is that the tank that just left
Will turn around and come back.

American, do you realize,
That the taxes that you pay
Feed the forces that traumatize
My every living day?

The bulldozers and the tanks.
The gases and the guns.
The bombs that fall outside my door;
All due to American funds.

Yet do you know the truth
Of where your money goes?
Do you let your media deceive your mind?
Is this a truth that no one knows?

You blame me for defending myself
Against the ways of Zionists.
I’m terrorized in my own land
And I’m the terrorist?

You think that you know all about terrorism
But you don’t know it the way I do.
So let me define the term for you.
And teach you what you thought, you knew.

I’ve known terrorism for quite some time,
Fifty- four years and more.
It’s the fruitless garden uprooted in my yard.
It’s the bulldozer in front of my door.

Terrorism breathes the air I breathe.
It’s the checkpoint on my way to school.
It’s the curfew that jails me in my own home,
And the penalties of breaking that curfew rule.

Terrorism is the robbery of my land.
And the torture of my mother.
The imprisonment of my innocent father.
The bullet in my baby brother.

So American, don’t tell me you know about
The things I feel and see.
I’m terrorized in my own land
And the blame is put on me.

But I will not rest, I shall never settle
For the injustice my people endure.
Palestine is OUR land and there we’ll remain
Until the day OUR homeland is secure.

And if that time shall never come,
Then you will never see a day of peace.
I will not be thrown from my own home,
Nor will fight for justice cease.

And if I am killed, it will be Falasteen.
It’s written on my breath.
So in your own patriotic words,
Give me liberty or give me death.

Islamophobia….Declared War on Islam

July 4, 2007

 by William Dalrymple

It’s not just Robert Kilroy-Silk who rants against Arab culture and Muslim faith. Prejudice against Islam has become a disease, and attacks on mosques are now routine

There are few things, you would imagine, that Labour’s Foreign Office minister Denis MacShane, Margaret Thatcher, the British National Party and the daytime television host Robert Kilroy-Silk would all agree on. Nevertheless, as events of the past week have shown, a deep disdain for Islam is one subject on which they can all concur whole-heartedly.

Their various remarks about Muslims are revealing, in that they show the degree to which prejudice is – as so often – mixed with quite astonishing ignorance. Baroness Thatcher famously sounded off on the failings of “Muslim priests”, apparently unaware that Islam has no such priesthood and indeed accepts no intermediary between God and man. Denis MacShane recently echoed her by criticising British Muslim leaders for failing to speak out against terrorism, apparently unaware that they have done little else since 9/11.

Meanwhile Kilroy – that eminent Brummie orientalist – in a blatant incitement to racial hatred published in the Sunday Express of 4 January, described Arabs as “suicide bombers, limb amputators, women repressors”, and implicitly suggested that the British thought that all 200 million of them were “loathsome” and “threatening” “terrorists” and “asylum-seekers”. He also denied that Muslims had contributed anything to civilisation (algebra, optics, the pointed arch and Arabic numerals did not feature in his column) and went on to reveal his expertise in the field by writing that Iran is an Arab country.

This is how George W. Bush became “the” President

July 4, 2007

Perhaps the most remarkable thing
about the Bush administration it
appears to have won its place in the
sun by election fraud.

In other words, the people who
have been so utterly successfully
in damaging the nation – its standing
in the world, its finances, its
long tradition of civil liberties,
even its military preparedness – have
no business being in the White House
in the first place.

And yet there they are.

Thanks to the ignorance of the general
public and the news media’s unwillingness
to report facts.

Here’s a somewhat technical demonstration
of how easy it is to change election
results in America.

Keep in mind as you watch this video
that the company that manufacturers this
vote counting system, is a major
financial supporter of George Bush Jr.

Pipe Bomb-Like Device Explodes at the American Disney?

July 4, 2007

A device similar to a pipe bomb exploded in a trash can early Monday at a remote parking lot at Walt Disney World, authorities said. No one was injured and no serious damage was reported in what officials called “an isolated incident.”Orange County sheriff’s deputies responded to a 12:30 a.m. call from Disney. An employee heard a loud noise and saw white smoke coming from the can near the Downtown Disney shopping and entertainment district, Sheriff Kevin Beary said.

“We have recovered a very crude, homemade, low-level device,” Beary said. “Because of the time and location of the event, weof the airport attack in Scotland, and attempted car bombings in London, combined with America’s upcoming July Fourth holiday, Beary said.

Downtown Disney is modeled after the downtown of an American city, and no price is charged for admission. “We work closely with law enforcement to continue to offer a safe environment,” Disney spokeswoman Kim Prunty said.

So, who do you think was behind that “terror plot”? I am actually being sarcastic here because every little thing that happens nowadays is blamed on Muslims one way or another. I wonder when that broken CD, repeated again and again, is going to stop.
